Our Accommodations – Atwood House Rooms

Choose one of the four Atwood House rooms – an enchanting bed and breakfast located in historic downtown Chillicothe, Ohio. All of the Atwood House rooms feature a private bathroom.

THE PRESIDENT’S ROOM

The President’s Room is furnished with a king size canopy bed, period cherry furniture and a private shower. This lovely room also features presidential memorabilia from the owner’s private collection while working for President Nixon.

THE GOVERNOR’S ROOM

Named for Governors Worthington and Tiffin, the Governor’s Room boasts a mahogany queen rice bed, private bath with a claw foot tub and second story porch access through a window door. The porch has a view of the Franklin Museum next door with Tiffany style stained glass windows.

THE GREEN ROOM

The Green Room, the coziest room in the house, was redesigned in 1896 when bathroom facilities were added. Bathroom has subway wall tiles and authentic hexagon floor tiles. The bedroom is furnished with an Eastlake walnut bedroom suite.

THE HUNT ROOM

The Hunt Room is decorated with nostalgic British hunting scenes, a spacious queen size sleigh bed and a beautiful walnut and marble dresser. This room has a full bath down the hall and includes luxurious terry cloth robes.
